2. Accidents at Work is the focus for module 2 and some of the most common workplace accidents that occur will be discussed. The prevention of slips, sprains and contact with hazardous substances are amongst some of the most typical.

3. Module 3 gives an overview of Personal Protective Equipment and Dealing with Asbestos. The issues regarding Display Screen Equipment will be touched upon and the challenging issue of working with asbestos and how best to handle it will be advised.

4. A potentially lifesaving education will be offered in Module 4 where we will look in detail at Fires, First Aid and General Health. Fire prevention and how to manage in the instance of a fire will be taught, before moving onto the important issue of first aid. Some useful tips for avoiding workplace stress will also be given in this section.

Format

The format of the course is essentially a slide show and it has been divided into different modules for your convenience. A short quiz will be given at the end of each module, where you will be required to answer a few short questions to enable you to progress to the next stage. The aim of this is to merely put your knowledge to the test and to prepare you for the ‘End of Course’ quiz. The final quiz will consist of 30 multiple-choice questions and you will need to score at least 70% (21 out of 30 questions) to successfully pass the course. Once you have achieved this, you will be able to instantly download your Health and Safety Level 2 certificate in PDF format. There is no pressure and you have the option to re-take the course if you fail.
